SiteAwareness Worldwide has grown targeted traffic to Web sites in order to meet unique business needs since l997. Our first client, Cray Research, came to us when an interactive agency contacted us about promoting Cray’s site in advance of the upcoming SuperComputing ’97 conference to be held in San Jose, California.
Suddenly, we found ourselves immersed in the world of automotive crash analysis, molecular modeling and storm behavior research. Once we got our bearings we starting honing in-the-trenches strategies for spreading the word about www.cray.com to a specialized audience of scientists, engineers and academicians.

Holsten Galleries

After our nationally-focused online campaign significantly increased buyer interest in Holsten Galleries’ collection of contemporary glass sculpture, owner Kenn Holsten asked us to promote the gallery’s site regionally. Our goal became to increase foot traffic to the Stockbridge, Massachusetts gallery. We accomplished this by promoting the gallery's site to people from neighboring urban centers, such as Boston and New York, using the Web to plan weekend trips to New England.
We then concentrated on linking the site within regional directories, art portals with regional listing categories, and special interest sites extolling the attractions of New England in general and the Berkshire hills of Western Massachusetts in specific with a resulting increase in foot traffic to the physical Holsten Galleries.
Schwan’s Foods

When Schwan’s launched its commerce-enabled site customers became able to place online the orders Schwan’s yellows trucks would deliver to their door. SiteAwareness Worldwide was hired to promote the new online service to residents of certain cities in Colorado, Kentucky, Kansas and Arizona.
Our national search engine optimization/registration campaign, which we implemented at the same time as regional site promotion, was bolstered by the numerous links we obtained for Schwan’s on directories, portals and information resources serving local populations.*

Yoplait

Yoplait's 'Save Lids to Save Lives' campaign; timed to occur during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, generates a donation to breast cancer research for each pink lid from a Yoplait container mailed in by a consumer. SiteAwareness Worldwide was tasked with promoting the fundraiser to breast cancer organizations, survivors, their friends and families in order to build participation.
We reached out to email list moderators and the owners of cancer-related sites, secured their endorsement for SLSL and asked them to spread the word to their constituencies. The resulting third party endorsement from people whose lives have been affected by breast cancer is a direct consequence of our non-automated, built-by-hand promotion.*
PBS’ Series ‘American High’

PBS’ acclaimed television documentary series about the lives of 14 Chicago teenagers was released with a text Parents’ Guide designed to help parents use the series as a vehicle for understanding teens and teen behavior. PBS made the ‘American High Parents’ Guide’ available online as a downloadable PDF file. Our national promotion focused on reaching parents of teens in the communities they frequent online and both grew viewership for the series as well as traffic to the Guide Web site that produced the intended downloads.

TogetherSoft produces application development software that simplifies and integrates the analysis‚ design‚ deployment and debugging of complex applications. Our mission was to inform project managers of software development teams about TogetherSoft's latest release and to generate leads by driving traffic to downloadable independent reports. Prospect contact information was produced during registration for the downloads.
We conducted an intensive search engine optimization and registration program for the company at the same time as online promotion. Six months into our work for TogetherSoft, Borland bought the North Carolina-based company for $185 million.*

To raise consumer awareness of Revolution
®, Pfizer's topical heartworm and flea medication for cats and dogs, online promotion targeted likely pet owners (e.g. parents of young children and singles with disposable income) with a message they could carry to their vets. Concurrently, we executed an intensive six-month search engine optimization and registration program.*

For Kids’ Sake! Radio

In association with November being National Adoption month, SiteAwareness Worldwide promoted the Thanksgiving radio documentary special “Adopting Diego and Other Tales of International Adoption” to adoption-related special interest groups online.
Our campaign for the documentary’s producers at For Kids’ Sake! Radio grew audience for the program by alerting adoptees, adopting parents and adoption organizations to the upcoming broadcast. Through message board posts, listserv announcements and pay-per-click advertising, we informed these interested parties about a Web page containing the list of participating stations by city and state so that they could find out when and where to tune in.
